nail care

NAILCARE

These days, people's nail care is just as fashionable as clothing. Some people simply enjoy having long nails, while others simply enjoy having them decorated. In order to maintain long, healthy nails for a longer period of time, those of these various kinds of people who care about their nails must be aware of proper grooming practices.

We frequently overlook our nails since we are so preoccupied with our other physical appearances. We believe that changing the nail polish is all that has to be done for the nails. However, that is when we are shown to be mistaken, as caring for your nails requires more than just applying new nail polish or simply shaping them to suit your needs; you also need to nurture them. So, guys, take a look at your nails right now and ask yourself, "Are they healthy?"

  • Don’t bite your nails
Some of us have a terrible habit of chewing off our nails. We merely chew our nails without realizing how it affects them or how the bacteria that were on them are just swallowed by us.

  • Don’t expose your nails to water often
We know that wet hair is always fragile and so are our nails. I'm not suggesting that you stop washing your hands altogether or that you try to take a bath without letting your hands in the way since it would be very stupid. But what I'm trying to explain is that if we frequently expose our nails to water, they just get incredibly soft, and there's a reasonable risk they could break or otherwise would lose their structure. According to Dr. Stern, “Keep in mind that despite its rigid structure, a nail is just like a sponge.  It practically has 1000 times the water absorption capacity of human skin.”

  • Trimming nails regularly
This is not how it works; you need to routinely trim your nails. It is not enough to simply trim your nail because it looks weird after breaking. A little trimming would do; it doesn't have to be like cutting it off altogether. Nail filing is also quite necessary as well.

  • Don’t cut your cuticles
Your nails have a layer of protection provided by their cuticles. Therefore, refrain from even considering trimming your cuticles.

  • Moisturize your nails
Yeah, I know right! Along with moisturizing your skin now we have to moisturize our nails too. It isn’t that much work seriously, you all just need to apply a normal oil or just any lip balm.

  • Nails too need space
Similar to how we become exhausted after a long day at work, so do our nails. Sometimes we simply repeat the cycle of painting our nails, removing them, and then painting them again. No matter how carefully you choose the nail paint brand, the regularity of putting and removing polish only wears down the nails and worsens their condition. Therefore, simply give them some room and leave their nails unpainted for some time.

  • Maintain nail hygiene
When left unattended, the area under our nails can get dirty and filled with germs, eventually compromising our nails' health. So maintaining good nail hygiene is also very important.

  • Your nail is not a tool
When we just receive a new box, bag, or anything else and we don't seem to have a knife or scissors to open it, what we generally do is just tear it apart with our nails. The seemingly simple procedure actually has a negative impact on the health of your nails over time and even causes some minor damage.

A great set of nails doesn't just appear; they require care and correct grooming. Your nails are a reflection of who you are. I've never noticed nails losing popularity. You just need the right attitude and upkeep to make your nails look beautiful; you don't need to go out of your way.

Regime for glass skin

REGIME FOR GLASS SKIN

Hey, you lovely folks! If you've heard about glass skin, you probably know what it is and why Koreans in particular are well-known for having it. If you're unfamiliar, let me quickly explain that having "glass skin" means having clear skin that is free of blemishes and uneven skin tone. It's true that someone with glass skin has gorgeous, glowing skin.

Since you can't just stretch your hands out and pull out a diamond similarly getting glass skin is not exactly a simple process, and you also can't expect a single product to instantly give you glass skin. To get glass skin, it would require a number of products and an appropriate regimen.

STEP 1 ~ Double cleansing

Double cleansing's remarkable effects have been seen by many people. Wash your face with a basic oil cleanser first. You can also use micellar water. Then, use a regular foam cleanser.

STEP 2 ~ Exfoliation

The most important step, exfoliation, is how can one forget. The removal of dead skin cells through exfoliation helps to clear clogged skin pores. Don't overdo it; exfoliate your skin no more than twice or thrice weekly.

STEP 3 ~ Toner

Most people believe that toners usually make their skin dry, but the Korean beauty regimen says otherwise. In fact, toners assist in resetting the PH level of our skin, hydrating it, and aiding in the better absorption of the products after applying a toner.

STEP 4 ~ Essence

What is an essence you ask? An essence is nothing more than a water-based solution that often serves as a moisturizing agent. These aren't serums since the serums are quite concentrated than that. Essence works on the pigmentations and redness of our skin, but its primary purpose is as a hydrating and moisturizing ingredient.

STEP 5 ~ Ampoule/Serum

In contrast to Korea, where ampoules—which are concentrated versions of serums—are used—we use serums. Ampoules begin to act quickly and help you reverse the effects of age, obtain an even skin tone, and many other things. However, because they are very concentrated versions and are meant to address a specific issue, it is advisable to use a serum. The hyaluronic serum is particularly popular because it functions as a moisturizing agent.

STEP 6 ~ Moisturizing

A moisturizer is a necessity in literally every regimen we have come across. Our skin still has to be moisturized if we want to get glass skin.

STEP 7 ~ Eye cream

Applying eye cream is necessary since bags under the eyes demand special attention. Use an eye cream or serum instead if your under-eye feels drier than the rest of your face because a regular moisturizer can't fix it.

STEP 8 ~ Face oil

You might be thinking why, after doing everything else, I need to apply face oil, but doing so helps to seal in the moisture and nourish it all at once.

STEP 9 ~ Sunscreen

When leaving the house, Koreans never forget their sunscreen. If you want glass skin and you leave the house without using sunscreen, your hopes of getting glass skin will be shattered.

STEP 10 ~ Sheet masks

Using sheet masks is the newest skincare trend right now. Because they truly aid in calming, healing, hydrating, imparting an immediate glow, and providing moisture in just 15-20 minutes, sheet masks are very miraculous. If you want to see a difference, use a sheet mask 2-3 times each week.

Get glass skin by adhering to this regimen religiously. However, it's important to keep in mind that because everyone is different and has a distinctive skin texture, we might not see the desired effects in the expected timeframe even after following this regimen.

Furthermore, your lifestyle has a role to play as well. It depends on how well you take care of yourself and how your lifestyle is, including your sleeping habits, the amount of fruits, vegetables, and other nutrients you consume, and whether or not you exercise. Glass skin may seem like too much work, and it is, in fact, a lot of work, but having glass skin indicates that a person has the healthiest skin type.

5 Things that are triggering your acne

The most pressing matter in the world for adolescents and adults is acne. People who have acne experience severe despair because whenever they look in the mirror, all they see are the spots that cover up their true beauty. In their desperation and haste to just get rid of the condition, acne sufferers simply start applying multiple chemical products to their faces, further damaging their skin. People start worrying about how to simply get rid of that rather than trying to figure out the cause of their acne condition.

In that case, if you’re one of them, stop right now and ask yourself if you’re leading a healthy lifestyle. And when I say “healthy,” I don’t necessarily mean purchasing high-end, imported products. And to be quite honest, there are many medications out there that would guarantee the treatment of acne. However, before we can find a solution to our problem, we must first understand the underlying cause of this condition. Therefore, before delving into the various causes of acne, we must first understand its foundational cause. We all know that we have hair on every part of our body, including our face, therefore when the hair follicles become clogged, acne develops.

  1. Stress
A common myth is that stress contributes to acne, although it’s untrue. However, if you already have acne, it can get worse if you feel stressed at that time.

  2. Genetic
It is often believed that if your parents had acne, you could also. Where there are genes involved there is usually a possibility and uncertainty as well.

  3. No hygiene
Acne can also result from sleeping on dirty blankets, pillowcases, and sheets since those germs directly touch your face when you sleep on them.

  4. Oil-based skincare item
As we are all aware that oil and acne don’t go hand in hand so where there is oil and your acne-prone skin then acne will pop up. So, someone who uses oil-based skin care products like moisturizers, oils, and other such things could develop acne.

  5. Poor diet
Well, if you consume foods high in carbohydrates, such as pasta, bread, and other items in that category, you will likely get acne concerns. Fast food, added fats, and dairy items can all contribute to acne issues.
