Kanika Narbar from New Delhi has been selected as one of the finalists for the 2024 Mrs. India beauty pageant organized by the Glamanand Group. Born in the national capital city, New Delhi, Kanika is currently based in Noida. She holds a master’s degree in journalism and is currently working as a talent acquisition consultant. She likes to socialize and listening to music. She mentions that these two activities help her relax and motivates her to perform better in regards to her professional matters. Kanika can speak 2 languages including Hindi and English. In this exclusive interview with the Beauty High magazine, she talks about her preparations for the Mrs. India 2024 beauty pageant and her journey so far.
Q. Many congratulations to you for getting selected for the national finals of Mrs. India 2024 competition. How does it feel? What were the first thoughts that crossed your mind when you got the news that you have gotten selected to compete at the 2024 Mrs. India contest?
Answer: Thank you very much. It feels great. It gives me immense confidence about myself and it will be a great opportunity for me to show my potential and talents to the world.
Q. Tell us more about the place you belong to.
Answer: I belong to New Delhi. As we know New Delhi is the heart of India. I love the fact that New Delhi is all about lovely people and mouth-watering delicacies. I have been born and brought up in this place and my love for it will always be biased. And not to forget the liveliness and exuberance that the people of New Delhi possess.
Q. Please take us through the significant milestones in your life and how they have shaped you as the person you are today.
Answer: It will definitely be entrepreneurship. I started this journey 3 years ago with a talent acquisition partnership firm and this has given me a boost to my personality and a different perspective of planning my goals and milestones to achieve. I never knew I can be such an excellent sales person as well. Definitely my confidence level has gone to another level where I have this never give up attitude and not to forget, its never too late to follow your passion.
Q. What are your hobbies and areas of interests, and how do you manage them with the responsibilities that you shoulder?
Answer: I love socializing. Since I am a very creative person, I love interiors too. I make sure that I give time to myself and my hobbies at least once or twice a week when I take a break from my work. All this gives me a kick and motivation to perform even better with my Business.
Q. Please tell us about your family and the role they play in your life
Answer: I am happily married and have a lovely10 year-old daughter. Both, my husband and my daughter are my biggest strengths as they have given a wonderful meaning to my life.
Q. Balancing personal, professional, and family responsibilities can be challenging. How do you manage this delicate balance in your life?
Answer: This is a big responsibility, but if you have your family’s support, it becomes easier as nobody can do anything alone and I have my support system with me. The goal that I have to achieve every time gives me courage to carry on and balance my personal., professional and family life.
Q. What the most crucial piece of advice that you would like to share with the women of this era?
Answer: I want each women of this era to know their worth and not to forget their dreams. As we know that women have always been more giving if we as women wont have our own identity, somewhere there will always e an emptiness that we definitely don’t want. So self worth and self-love is the key for every women’s happiness.

Answer: Life is uncertain and we keep getting opportunities. Let’s grab every opportunity to make each day worth living and make moments that are unforgettable.
