Journey to the crown: An exclusive interview with Kashish Chauhan, Miss Teen Diva 2023-24 finalist
Kashish Chauhan from Uttar Pradesh has been selected as one of the finalists for the nation’s biggest and most prestigious beauty pageant for teenagers and adolescents - Miss Teen Diva. Born in Aligarh, Kashish is a student at the Heritage International School. She is a trained dancer and has won second runner-up title in a fashion event in the past. In this exclusive interview with the Beauty High Magazine, she talks about her preparations for the Miss Teen Diva finals and her journey till now.
Q. Many congratulations to you for getting selected for the national finals of Miss Teen Diva 2023-24 competition. How does it feel? What were the first thoughts that crossed your mind when you got the news that you have gotten selected to compete at the 2023-24 Miss Teen Diva contest?
Answer: It took few seconds to realize that I have come a finalist of India's biggest teen pageant then I told myself finally I am going to represent me and my whole city at the national level and that moment was amazing.
Q. Tell us something about the place you belong to.
Answer: I was born and brought up in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh which is also known as city of locks because of its large number of locks production in India.
Q. Enlighten us in regards to your preparations for the upcoming Miss Teen Diva competition.
Answer: I am working really hard to prepare for this competition. There is a lot that I have learnt during past few days and I am working on my communication skills, presentation skills and following a fitness regime. I am trying to deliver my best and I will surely give my best.
Q. In your opinion, what are the qualities / traits that you believe could help you move ahead in the competition?
Answer: I believe my hardworking personality and my confidence would help me move ahead in the competition. A perfect balance between these to qualities can do wonders and hoping for the same to happen.
Q. Tell us something about your hobbies and areas of interest.
Answer: I love dancing, singing, exploring new places , and playing outdoor games.
Q. Any quote or saying that has a profound impact on you.
Answer: One quote I truly believe that winners are not those who never fail but those who never quit.
Q. Who / what is your biggest support system?
Answer: My mother and my grandmother are my biggest support system. They always encourage me to follow my dreams with confidence and passion and I am very grateful to have them in my life.
Q. When you look back in time, what is the biggest life lesson that you have learnt?
Answer: When I look back in time one thought that always reminds me to never give up in your worst time because problems are the part of life just learn from them and move ahead.
Q. In your opinion, what is the best way to handle criticism?
Answer: I think the best way to handle criticism is don't look back what people are saying just work on yourself and love yourself.
Q. One piece of advice that you would like to share with the individuals who want to join the beauty pageant industry.
Answer I would say that don't think too much just go for it because it your time, your stage and this is only for you.
