According to the latest box office numbers from Cirque du Soleil, Ajay Devgn's Drishyam 2 continues to gain momentum well into its seventh week, while Ranveer Singh's film continues to flop.

The second Friday of the run for the Ranveer Singh–starring Cirkus only brought in 30.25 crore net. However, Ajay Devgn's Drishyam 2 maintained its strong box office performance into its seventh Friday.

In its seventh week, Drishyam 2 continued its phenomenal box office performance, earning around 75 lakhs nett on its seventh Friday. The total earnings for the Hindi sequel have reached 224 crore nett. The earnings for the second Friday of the second week for the family comedy Cirkus were only 30.25 crore nett, down from 29.25 crore nett in the first week.

Ranveer Singh's Cirkus, in which he plays two roles, needs a strong second weekend if it's going to make its goal of earning 40 crore nett in its second week. Moviegoers will be entertained by Rohit Shetty's adaptation of Shakespeare's The Comedy of Errors. Varun Sharma, Pooja Hegde, Jacqueline Fernandez, Johnny Lever, Sanjay Mishra, and Siddharth Jadhav are among the many talented actors featured in the film.

Drishyam 2 is a remake of the 2021 Malayalam film of the same name, which starred Mohanlal and Meena. It stars Ajay Devgn, Shriya Saran, Tabu, and Akshaye Khanna. Box Office India, a trade website, reported that the thriller's seventh Friday box office was higher than the previous week. If it can keep drawing crowds over the New Year's holiday, it has a chance to surpass Brahmastra's 230 crore nett in Hindi box office earnings.

Despite Cirkus having more theatres showing it, the comedy Drishyam 2 has been doing better at the box office. Positive reviews have helped the thriller's box office performance since its November 18 debut, and it may even surpass Cirkus's holiday weekend take.
