78. Please Welcome - TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO!
Previously seen and loved on the stage of Miss World, this beauty queen is also one of the veterans in the world of pageantry. She represented her kingdom in the 69th edition of Miss World, back in 2019 where she managed to make the first cut, placing her country into the top 40 on the night of the finale. She also took home the title of Miss World Caribbean 2019 on the same night. She is a highly educated inspirational woman who is currently pursuing a masters degree in social work. She had previously completed her graduation in the field of science and has also earned certification in social work and social policy. She is known to work with various humanitarian non governmental organisations. She is also working on her own project that is dedicated to providing assistance and care for the migrant venezuelan children in her land.

Standing 5 feet 9 inches tall is this Turkish model Aleyna Sirin. She is an interior architecture and environmental design student. She is a professional dancer, having a three year experience in ballet and 5 years in Jazz dancing. At 21 years of age, Aleyna graduated from the Istanbul Academy of Dramatic Art. Her first ever exposure in the field of social work was when she went to meet hospitalised children and gifted them toys and other items. She has also been a part of psychology symposiums. She desires to be able to use her knowledge in interior architecture and environmental designing for the benefit of children and animals.
80. Put Your Hands Together For - UKRAINE!
Originally crowned as Miss Universe Ucrania 2021’s first runner up, Viktoria Apanasenko was appointed by the Miss Universe Ukraine organisation as their representative at the 71st Miss Universe edition, owing to the current war situation in their country. She is using her platform to spread awareness about the ongoing war and the situation of her country. Her national costume is also dedicated to this cause. Apart from advocating in favour of peace, she has also had a history of working against domestic violence in her country for 6 years. She has also been awarded with various awards for her social work in the past. She has also dedicated her time towards mental health causes and is also a United Nations Global Compact Ambassador of Peace in Ukraine.

Oh USA has had its fair share of controversies this year, but we will save the tea for some other time. Right now let us discuss R'Bonney Gabriel - Miss USA 2022 and the country’s bet for their ninth crown of the universe. Being born to a Filipino father and an American mother, R’Bonney is half Filipina and half American - a combination that the world of pageants will always only love. She was born and brought up in the Philippines and she flew out of the island nation only after 25 years of age, in order to pursue her doctorate degree in the field of Psychology from the University of Southern California. Professionally, she is a fashion designer, dedicated towards designing fabrics and attires that are eco friendly in nature. She has been participating in pageants since 2020 when she had placed in the top 5 of Miss Kemah USA. She later competed for the title of Miss Texas USA 2021 and was the first runner up there.

The spitting image of Miss Universe Brasil 2022, Carla Romero is a 25 year old model from Uruguay. She is a business administration graduate who also works as an image consultant. Earlier last year, we had seen her compete at the Miss World Uruguay pageant where she finished amongst the top 8 finalists. She has had a history of working in MNCs since she was 18 years old. Her own mental health experiences from the past have driven her to advocate towards bettering the mental status of people in her country and especially taking good care of people with anxiety and other mood disorders. Uruguay's highest placement at Miss Universe was in 1985 when their queen placed in the top 5 of the competition.

One of the most favourites for the crown this year is Amanda Dudamel of Venezuela. Amanda is a fashion designer and a philanthropist back in Venezuela. She is the daughter of a famous Venezuelan soccer player. Both her parents always had jobs that required her to move houses a lot therefore Amanda has had a history of living in different countries from all around the world including South Africa, Chile and Colombia. She pursued her degree in fashion designing from Italy. She is a fluent speaker of English, Spanish and Italian. Other that being a model and a beauty queen, Amanda also has many brands under her name including a fashion brand called “by Amanda Dudamel” and many more. She also works with oan organisation that is dedicated to providing food to 1000 children every single day.

Nguyễn Thị Ngọc Châu is a Vietnamese actress and model who had previously represented her country at Miss Supranational back in 2019. She had pulled off a top 10 placement at MS’19. She was also awarded with the title of Miss Supra Asia at the end of the finale. During her national competition, Nguyen had made top 10 at almost every sub contest of the pageant and also won the best body award. She is known for being extremely disciplined, honest and compassionate. She is an ambassador for the Children of Vietnam Charitable Fund, which supports children with birth defects and diseases in Vietnam. Ngọc Châu aspires to become an entrepreneur, producer and host of her own show. She wants to use the platform to bring more positive influences into her community and to support disadvantaged children and women in Vietnam. She is also a great singer who has taken part in music competitions.
Please Note : We mentioned that the number of participants for this year’s Miss Universe competition were 85 at the start of this series. However, with the recent announcement from Miss Kazakhstan, it has been made public that she shall not be able to take part in this year's contest, owing to the lack of resources and help from her national organisation.
