Glamanand’s chairman, Nikhil Anand talks about Miss Universe, Sheynnis Palacios’ visit to India
After 7 years, a non-Indian Miss Universe titleholder is going to visit India. Miss Universe 2023, Sheynnis Palacios from Nicaragua will be visiting India this May. She will arrive in India on May 7, 2024 as part of her Indian tour and will stay in New Delhi till May 10, 2024. One of the prime purposes of her visit is the launch of the Miss Universe India competition under the new management of the Glamanand Group. The Glamanand Group has acquired the franchise rights of the Miss Universe competition in India and an exclusive national level competition, solely dedicated to the Miss Universe Organization as the Indian preliminary, will be launched in India. The winner of the national competition will represent India at the 2024 Miss Universe competition to take place in Mexico.
Under the combined ownership of the JKN Group and the Legacy Holding Group USA Inc. this will be the first time a Miss Universe winner will visit India. Speaking about this special visit of the Miss Universe 2023 titleholder, the Indian franchise holder of Miss Universe competition, Nikhil Anand mentioned, “We are eagerly waiting to welcome Miss Universe 2023, Sheynnis Palacios to India. All the arrangements have been done and our team has put in all the possible efforts to make this visit a memorable one for the delegation from Miss Universe Organization. Alongside the launch of the Miss Universe India competition, Sheynnis will also have a special conference highlighting her work as Miss Universe and the social causes she has been working for since the past few months as Miss Universe. It will be followed by a special interview with Bharat24 and an official dinner with the delegation. She will also have a special photoshoot done in India for the very first cover page of the Beauty High Magazine that we are going to launch this year. The magazine will be launched as a subsidiary of the Glamanand Group and will feature content focusing on a variety of subjects. This year, we, the Glamanad Group has completed 10 years and a special celebration on the accomplishment of this milestone is also arranged. This is indeed a very special year for us as we complete 10 years and have joined hands with the prestigious Miss Universe organization. We are all so happy and looking forward to make this event memorable for everyone.”
In the past, a very few Miss Universe winners have visited India and Sheynnis Palacios will be one of them. She is the first woman from her country to win the prestigious Miss Universe title and in the end of this year, she will pass on her crown to her successor in Mexico. As the Glamanand Group prepares to welcome her in India, it will be exciting to see who will represent India at this upcoming Miss Universe competition.
