Deveshrii Bandewaar from Maharashtra has been selected as one of the finalists for the 2024 Mrs. India beauty pageant organized by the Glamanand Group. Born in Wani, she is currently based in Nagpur. She holds a bachelor’s degree in law and is an entrepreneur and model. Her hobbies and areas of interest include riding bikes, dancing and acting. Deveshrii is a polyglot and can speak 3 languages including Hindi, English and Marathi. In the past, she had also won two regional beauty titles. In this exclusive interview with the Beauty High magazine, she talks about her preparations for the Mrs. India 2024 beauty pageant and her journey so far.
Q. Many congratulations to you for getting selected for the national finals of Mrs. India 2024 competition. How does it feel? What were the first thoughts that crossed your mind when you got the news that you have gotten selected to compete at the 2024 Mrs. India contest?
Answer: Thank you so much. Being selected for the national finals of Mrs. India 2024 is an incredible honor and a dream come true. When I received the news, I was filled with excitement and gratitude. My first thoughts were about the journey ahead, the opportunities it brings, and the chance to represent women from my region on a national platform.
Q. Tell us more about the place you belong to.
Answer: I belong to Nagpur Maharashtra which is also known as Orange City, a vibrant and culturally rich region. It is known for its breathtaking landscapes, historical significance, and warm-hearted people. The place is a fusion of traditional values and modern development, making it a unique and beautiful place to call home.
Q. Please take us through the significant milestones in your life and how they have shaped you as the person you are today.
Answer: Throughout my life, there have been several milestones that have shaped me into the person I am today. From studying LLB to modeling, each milestone has taught me valuable lessons of perseverance, determination, and courage. The challenges and triumphs I have experienced have molded me into a strong, compassionate, and resilient individual, always striving for personal growth and making a positive impact on those around me.
Q. What are your hobbies and areas of interests, and how do you manage them with the responsibilities that you shoulder?
Answer: I have always been passionate about dancing, modelling and acting. Whether it's dancing or modeling, or volunteering for social causes, these activities bring me immense joy and fulfillment. To manage them with my responsibilities, I believe in effective time management and prioritization. I make sure to allocate dedicated time for my hobbies, always finding a balance between my personal and professional commitments.
Q. Please tell us about your family and the role they play in your life
Answer: My family is my pillar of strength and support, especially my son. My family has been there for me through every up and down, cheering me on and guiding me along the way. They have instilled in me the values of love, respect, and the importance of nurturing relationships. Their unconditional love and unwavering belief in me have shaped me into the confident and determined individual I am today.
Q. Balancing personal, professional, and family responsibilities can be challenging. How do you manage this delicate balance in your life?
Answer: Balancing personal, professional, and family responsibilities can be a juggling act, but it's all about finding the right balance. I believe in effective communication and setting priorities. I make to-do lists, delegate tasks when necessary, and ensure that I allocate quality time for my family and loved ones. It's all about understanding the importance of each responsibility and finding harmony between them.
Q. What the most crucial piece of advice that you would like to share with the women of this era?
Answer: The most crucial piece of advice I would like to share with the women of this era is to believe in them. Recognize your worth, embrace your uniqueness, and never underestimate your potential. You have the power to achieve anything you set your mind to. Surround yourself with positive influences, stay true to your values, and never be afraid to dream big and chase your aspirations. Trust in your abilities and strive to make a difference in the world.
