Born in Jamshedpur, Sudipta is currently based in Telangana. She holds a bachelor’s degree in technology and engineering and is working as a senior software engineering manager. She likes to spend time with her child and workout in the gym to stay health and focused. This trained singer and fitness enthusiast is a polyglot and can speak 3 languages including Bengali, English and Hindi. Q. Many congratulations to you for getting selected for the national finals of Mrs. India 2024 competition. How does it feel? What were the first thoughts that crossed your mind when you got the news that you have gotten selected to compete at the 2024 Mrs. India contest?
Answer: Being selected for Mrs. India was an absolute thrill for me. It stirred a profound sense of goodness, humility, and gratitude. I felt truly blessed to have the opportunity to represent myself and exhibit my skills on such a prestigious platform. This journey is more than just a title; it's a chance for personal growth. I believe it will not only enable me to showcase the best version of myself but also serve as a platform for continuous improvement and empowerment. The excitement and anticipation for the transformative journey ahead are beyond words.
Q. Tell us more about the place you belong to.
Answer: I was born and raised in the dynamic steel city Jamshedpur, which holds a special place in my heart. What makes it truly special is the vibrant cultural tapestry woven by its people. In Jamshedpur, there's a wonderful sense of harmony and togetherness, where people from diverse backgrounds celebrate all festivals together. However, for the past decade, Hyderabad has become a second home to me. It's not just a city but a crucial chapter in my life, contributing significantly to my professional growth. Living in Hyderabad has played a pivotal role in my journey towards becoming an independent woman. It's where I've built my family, celebrated the joyous moments of marriage, and embraced the responsibilities of motherhood with the arrival of my child. Both Jamshedpur and Hyderabad weave together the tapestry of my life, each holding its unique significance in my personal and professional story.
Q. Please take us through the significant milestones in your life and how they have shaped you as the person you are today.
Answer: The significant milestones of my life have played a profound role in shaping the person I am today. The loss of my mother, who courageously battled a terminal illness for over a year, left an indelible mark on me. Her unwavering smile amidst pain taught me the fighting spirit and the importance of a never-give-up attitude. The journey of becoming a mother marked another milestone, bringing forth a spectrum of emotions — from the highs of joy to the lows of anxiety and sadness. Navigating through the challenges of new motherhood, I faced the absence of maternal support. Yet, I persistently strived to provide the best for my child, embracing the diverse range of emotions that come with raising a kid without the guidance of my own mom. These milestones, though challenging, have sculpted my resilience, strength, and capacity to find positivity even in the face of adversity.
Q. What are your hobbies and areas of interests, and how do you manage them with the responsibilities that you shoulder?
Answer: Balancing my hobbies and areas of interest is crucial in my daily routine. As a fitness enthusiast, I adhere to a strict schedule, allocating dedicated time to the gym and exercise. Recognizing the significance of a healthy body and mind, I prioritize maintaining my fitness. Apart from that, I am also a trained singer, and though I can't integrate it into my daily routine, I find moments to practice and rehearse songs whenever I have some free time. Music adds a beautiful dimension to my life. Moreover, my absolute joy lies in spending time with my kid. I cherish every moment and make a conscious effort not to miss any milestones in his growth. Balancing these diverse interests requires careful time management, but the fulfillment derived from each activity contributes to a harmonious and enriched life.
Q. Please tell us about your family and the role they play in your life
Answer: Within the intricate fabric of my family, my husband stands as my staunchest support, guiding friend, and most candid critic. His consistent motivation, corrections, and unwavering encouragement have played a pivotal role in my achievements to date, making him an integral part of my journey. My child, a source of unbridled joy, has been a profound teacher in the art of selfless love. Embracing each moment with him, I've learned to cherish life's simplicity. His innocent countenance serves as a powerful source of strength, urging me to face life's hurdles with greater resilience. Despite the physical absence, my maternal home remains a source of stability. My late mother's blessings and ideologies act as a grounding force during challenging moments. Meanwhile, my father, a man of substance, has consistently exemplified the values of brotherhood and helpfulness, instilling in me the importance of extending a helping hand. Together, my family forms a dynamic support system, shaping and enriching my life's journey.

Every task I undertake is driven by a genuine desire to contribute and create a meaningful impact in all aspects of my life. This approach transforms responsibilities into fulfilling endeavors, where dedication and enthusiasm guide me through each role I play, be it in my personal life, my profession, or within my family.

Answer: My advice to women of this era is rooted in self-love and embracing individual uniqueness. Avoid the trap of comparison; instead, revel in what makes you distinctly you. Each person possesses unique strengths, and it's essential not to lose that individuality by trying to imitate others. Identify your strengths, nurture them, and let them shine. Passion is a powerful driver; pursue what genuinely ignites your enthusiasm. In the journey of life, authenticity and embracing your own path bring fulfillment. So, love yourself, recognize your strengths, and follow your passion, for therein lies the essence of a truly empowered and fulfilled woman in this era.
